An excellent Report, well researched. This Report should be shared and read by all local Authorities who have a rescue importing Rescue dogs in their area. In addition Government Departments with an interest in animal welfare and the importation of rescue dogs and puppies. If this Report was shared on Facebook pages amongst the general public who have an interest in animal welfare they would be more enlightened as to the trade in rescue dogs. The welfare concern surrounding the illegal importation and lack of adequate enforcement to control the ever increasing numbers of imported dogs and cats and the increased risk of disease spread.
